Located in southern York County, The Village at Shrewsbury is one of the best kept secrets around and offers a perfect location for retirement living. The Shrewsbury Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and The Village at Shrewsbury is set within walking distance of the town library, YMCA, post office, a pharmacy, shopping center, and even a doctor’s office, affording residents the opportunity to frequently engage in the greater community at large. The nearby historic towns of Stewartstown, New Freedom and Glen Rock offer an abundance of parks, golf courses, vineyards, farmer’s markets, large and small shopping centers and an array of restaurants. The Mason-Dixon Line lies four miles to the south with Cockeysville, Hampstead and Manchester, Maryland offering additional cultural venues, specialty shopping and the Catoctin Mountains.
